Signs for Life
Just knowing that you exist may increase
your public support and donations.

Simply ask business owners, doctors, restaurants, etc if you can put up a display (link) on their counter to advertise your project. Ask your staff/faculty for help in contacting their friends or parents in their class who have such establishments. You can mail an introductory letter (link) to the owner, or drop it by. If you do not get an answer right away, stop back by in a couple of days to check if they had a chance to get approval.
Leave the display on their counter, with
the individual quarter page leaflets next to it (link). (Small inexpensive
stands or easels are available at stationary or office supply stores). While
customers/clients, are standing at the counter, they can read about your project
and your organization from the display. The leaflets are available for them to
take with them to remind themselves to call or e-mail you to order. If you have
an on-line store with Color of Language, they can order on-line. (link)
It costs approximately $2.? to mail one calendar through the mail in a bubble wrap envelope, or you can ask a willing parent to be in charge of delivering the orders and thanking them personally.
