REPRODUCIBLE HANDWRITING PRACTICE SERIES

READINESS

Students will begin preparing for manuscript print and cursive by tracing various patterns, lines and shapes, while developing beginning motor skills. Reproducible pages for Preschool & Kindergarten students.

ALPHABET

Students will identify the 26 upper and lowercase letters in printed manuscript and the manual alphabet. Matching, cut and paste, dot-to-dot, simple writing, and fill in the blank exercises allow them to practice alphabetical order.

MANUSCRIPT

COL’s “Beginning Manuscript” curriculum introduces each of the 26 letters of the alphabet in written form and in the manual alphabet used in American Sign Language. Student will practice writing upper and lowercase letters individually and together. Meets CA State Content Standards.

D’NEALIAN

Students will practice writing words from left to right and top to bottom. They will practice proper spacing and independently using uppercase and lowercase D’Nealian letters. Meets CA State Content Standards.

CURSIVE

Each of the 26 upper and lower case letters of the alphabet are introduced in cursive writing and in the manual alphabet used in American Sign Language. Students will practice writing each of the letters in both uppercase and lowercase format. Meets CA State Content Standards.
