:  UPDATE FROM KATRINA AND LASD
Last year, with your help, COL was privileged to donate over $1000 to the LA School for the Deaf to assist them in helping the families devastated by hurricane Katrina. We appreciate all you did to spread the word and let people know that the total amount of their purchases from COL would be donated to LASD if they stated that when ordering.  

:  NEW PROJECT FOR 2007
Recently Sandy, COL President, returned from a trip to the Dominican Republic to view first hand a new school for Deaf children being established in Santo Domingo, the capitol. She was deeply touched as she witnessed first hand the desperate need there and the amazing work being done to alleviate that need.

To help those working so hard to make a difference for those children, from Dec. 1, 2006 until the Dec. 31, 2007, COL will donate 20% of the total amount of purchase to this new school for those who state "D.R. School" in the message portion of their order on-line or include it in their e-mail when ordering directly from our office.

• For the benefit of your school or organization we also offer the calendar as a fundraising opportunity. Discounts are available for ANY bulk order, not just fundraising orders. For example, purchase 25 or more and receive each calendar at the price of $6 each. Contact us to place your bulk order.

• Many new additions and changes will be arriving in the coming months. A new website look is in the works as well as many new products such as Bingo cards and new curriculum.
